I was born in Tunisia, 1986. I became more intact with my Palestinian identity at the age of 10 when I moved to Gaza,Palestine. Like many other Palestinians, along with my family were obligated to move around from country to country, from one city to the next but not to run, I moved to continue this fight and find a place where I can connect.
In addition to constantly switching homes, as a Palestinian and a female Arab, I am constantly trying to prove myself. Society, family, art, friends are all apart of my existence, all a continuous fight to keep.
As a photographer I approach life through the lens via my personal experiences where boundaries do not exist. Through photography looking through that lens it allows me to see a whole different world, a world of my chosen, a world where there's no place for restrictions. Photography is my way of liberation.
